mike trottier - I'm a retired firefighter and this thing keeps me in great shape. I love my trikke
Brian Hughes - We have had so much fun taking turns Trikking around our subdivision, everyone stops and watches us go by. Thanks so much for all the good times and good work outs.
caryl - I got this last year for my 53rd birthday and love it even though I still have trouble going up hill. I haven't quite figured out the secret to that! But I do work up a sweat trying and have lost about 5 lbs. Now that the weather is nicer I plan on going out on it some more and my neighbors like it too! We take
turns running it around the court and over at the school tennis courts. Great workout that's fun! And people always stop and ask what it is. So I let them try it out. So far two of my friends have bought them.
T8 Sport - My T8 gets a 5 rating. This machine is built to last. I've had my trikke about 1 1/2 yr. It took about a week to get the hang of the motion. Once you get it, it's definitely addictive. It's not someting that's going to end up in the garage collecting dust. I'm always scoping out places to ride when I'm driving. I thought it was too much money until I saw the quality of materials and engineering. I say go for it!
Sal (The Old Dude) - I am a 65 year old male and I love my T-8 trikke. It was the best perches I make, health and fun wise. I would recommend the T-8 to all my senior friends.
Yours truly, Sal The Old Dude.
Geege - I was cited for speeding down a highway on a Trikke 8 with a leaf blower attached to his back. Officer Ben Stein was sitting in the parking lot of Dunkin' Donuts when he saw the spectacle. "I could not believe it," said Officer Stein. "This guy is flying down the highway passing cars on a three wheeled skateboard
with handle bars." "He had a leaf blower strapped to his back and was using it like a jet engine. I clocked him at 46 mph in a 35 mph zone." "Never in my 20 year career have I seen anything like it."
When reached for comment, Geege Ferretjans, who sells the Trikkes on his web site (less leaf blower) said he was just trying to have some fun. "I knew that particular leaf blower could blow air at 250 miles per hour but I did not think it would get me going that fast! I normally can cruise at about 15-18 mph. Since starting
to ride the Trikke 8, I have dropped over 65 lbs. This thing has literally saved my life."
GARY R. TORIAN M.D. - Had to give up running and roller blading because of knee and lower back issues. Bought a T8 air, and it is perfect. No impact, and since there are handle bars there's no lower back problems.
Best of all, its plain fun!
Two years and still going!!
James Gilbert - My T8 Sport is a quality, comfortable, fun machine for exercise. It's light weight and compact, easy to put in the trunk and take everywhere. Driving an 18-wheeler, I need exercise and a way to relax each week. My T8 goes on the road with me and is used in most of the fifty States. YES, I get delayed by
on lookers, asking questions about what it is and how it work. They all say it looks like fun. YES, FUN is the first thing that come to mind, you don't even feel your exercising. I have been inpressed with the overall quality of the T8. I am always looking for new places to ride, as I criss cross the country. Get one, give it a try, and you'll
find the whole family is using it.
Eileen Holland - I am the most enthusiastic Trikke owner on the planet. I adore the way I feel like a kid again zipping along on my Trikke. I ride to and from work everyday and enjoy the fabulous excersise benifits. Then , when I get home I take my two dogs with me for more excellent fun especially since we have learned
to leave the squirrels alone.
Mark R. Steck - I saw this "thing" at the Dallas Truck Show in Aug.'08 and I was drawn to watching the young man on it carve around the convention center. Upon returning home I did my research and purchased one.(T-8 Air)
After dealing with numerous spinal injuries and being frustrated for 30+ years of not being able to do STRENUOUS EXERCISE I have found the answer. I am sweating, smiling, and have achieved VERY FAVORABLE results in achieving greatly increased mobility!
The reason I do not give it a 5 is strictly from a mechanical standpoint.I am an old "GearHead"and I see some small areas for improvement, mechanically.I actually rate it a 4.75 but there is not a choice for that in the box.
Thankfully,
Mark R. Steck/Battlefield,MO.
T-8 Sport - I have a Trikke and I've lost 35lbs since riding it, I've also convinced my wife and my neighbor to buy a couple for themselves. We now have a Trikke Crew and we visit all the skate parks in our town . Its lots of fun.
RayGina Ryan - I bought the T12 for my husband for his birthday in November and liked his so much that he ended up getting me the T8 for Christmas. The T8 went a lot faster than the T12 (of course it's lighter) I felt I carved a lot better with the T8. I LOVE IT!!!!! I have bad knees and a bad lower back. I can honestly
say that this work out is awesome and FUN! I am constantly getting question about my bike. I let others try it and have gotten them to buy there own!! My dad has one, my best friend has one. My boss has one and one of my co-workers is looking into it as I type. My husband and I go around Ried Park every week and love
it!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad I saw your infomercial and looked you up on line. I look foward to riding, I listen to my favorite music and life is good! My husband of 15 years rides behind me and enjoys the view!!! :)
Daniel Riestenberg - I have and older model. When I was living in town it was great but I have moved to the country and no longer have concrete to ride on. My unit cannot convert to the larger wheels so it has sat for a couple of years now. I miss it. Wish there was a conversion.
Jeff Wise - I love this thing, it's sturdy construction gives me confendence that it will give me a good return on my money. the pnumatic tires give a softer ride on the rough payment we (my wife rides a T78c) have avalible. It does have slightly more resistance with the ground, but more risistance means a better work
out, right? The larger size gives you more push which makes it faster. As with other Trikkes you can work it hard or ride easy. The leather hand grips are sweet as is the general apperance and finish.
Kelly - I have owned a T8 for over 2 years and have a great time riding it in my neighborhood. I was looking for a low impact, aerobic exercise alternative to a bicycle and this is IT! I get many good comments and questions like "Wow, what is it?"
T8 - This machine has improve my health. I love the fact that I purchased it with the air tires. Althought, quite frankly - get to 85+psi is kind of hard. During the winter time in NY need to remember to oil its joins apart from that this machine run smothly! love it. best investment on myselft ever! Thank u TRIKKE
james - it realy work and the best work out I ever use. Compare to my bowflex ultimate just sitting in my garage and collecting dust. I recomended T8sport, allot of fun and it's good for my health.
Ken Coberley - I would like to win this contest, because riding a Trikke has changed my life completely. When I started riding I wasn't doing much with or for my health. I was in my late 60's & really not watching what I ate or doing much exercising. I started on the earliest model and worked my way up to the T8's & the T12's. I now ride a T8 most of the time.
At the time of this writing I have lost 15 pounds in about 3 months and almost 3" in my waist. I have plans of losing 40-50 pounds by the end of summer of '09. I feel this is the best work out I've ever had, as I used to do different things for my health. I watched what I ate, I did quite a bit of walking & working out, but then my health started going down hill & I got lazy & wouldn't much about it. I still smoked & ate anything I wanted. I finally realized I had to do something, so I quite smoking & got back into exercise
As I got older I would lie around and watch TV as I didn't feel like doing anything. I saw the infomercial and I just had to have one and now I feel getting a Trikke was the best decision I've ever made. I feel so much better and have more energy now than I did when I was younger! Of course, I now watch very closely what I eat and I'm on my Trikke every day weather permitting!
Bonnie Latshaw - I've owned my Trikke T8Air for about a year. I absolutely love it, even though I haven't quite mastered the continuous ride including uphills. It's still great low-impact exercise for my 58-yr-old body. I have loved exercise since I was in my early 30's when I found how beneficial it is both mentally and physically. As I've
aged, I've had to give up running and Trikke-ing is definitely an excellent replacement. My Trikke can go anywhere there are roads or sidewalks and the pneumatic tires give a smooth ride with great gripping power. I've given up running, don't have access to downhill or skate skiing anymore since I moved out of Alaska, and swimming and mountain biking are also difficult to include in my life right now. The Trikke comes out of the garage and gets me going immediately in the neighborhood and on bike trails. The only thing that would make me love it even more (if that were possible) is to get a bit more detailed instruction on how to use my body as efficiently as possible on the Trikke. The CD seems more advertisement-oriented instead of instruction-oriented. I'm
a detailed person and like to learn all I can to master something. I have enjoyed the sports I've mastered very much. This is one I'd certainly like to master as well. I will keep at it as it's a great low impact all-over body exercise. Thanks, Trikke!
Joe - My wife & both own a T-8. We love it but seldon ride anymore because it is only fun on flat ground. We don't live on the SLC Salt Flats, so long expances of flat, smooth hard surfaces are rare.
Thye just sit in our storage room & stare at me as I pass them by.
Chris Thorsen - My Trikke has been a blast !. . .it took me a fall or two to realise that asphalt is not all that forgiving - now I wear guards which you should STRONGLY recommend. . .I do two miles a day. . . the exercise is great, though up hill against the wind is not alot of fun. . .it's getting loose in the front joint, which concerns me, and it's
shuddering a bit when I carve left - don't know why. . .when I started I had the plastic wheels and when I hit the breaks on a hill it wore a flat spot on the wheel, so I got the air wheels. . .front tire is wearing down. . .hardly ever have use for the breaks. . .Cool. . .T *
Tim Doan - I'm a 38 yr. old who has been actively lifting weights, kettlebells, and jogging most of my life. My discipline is fueled primarily by vanity, a love of food, and a loathing for dieting. I refuse to eat less but I refuse to get out of shape! When my wife was recovering from major back surgery, she spent about
6 weeks in bed with a laptop. During this time there were not many infomercials that she could resist. One day a Trikke T8 convertible was on the front porch. I had it assembled in a half hour and we were both able to manuever it around the cul de sac within 15 minutes of initially trying. It has been a part of my fitness
regimen ever since. It is lower impact than running and way more fun. I never get tired of the strange looks as I carve on by. This incredible invention has done more for my core and abs than all of the crunches in the world. I would recommend this product to anyone at any age! It is revolutionary in its design, effectiveness,
and level of enjoyment. Your abs will never be the same!
roseline achenie - I bought my T8 Sport last year; I could not get it to move for a good couple of weeks. The few yards I could make gave me this feel of gliding on ice that I loved but short lived each time I could not move again. I am doing great on it now. My arthritis in my knee is gone because I didnot pay attention
to it anymore because of all the fun I was having. My boyfriend has got one now, and the neighbors are all crazy about it. I live in the south; Trikkes are not familiar year. I definitely feel on top of the world on the trikke.
R. Thomas - I bought two a couple of yeara ago for the husband and I. The Trikke is a lot of fun! I ride it around the neighborhood and get a lot of questions and comments. I have skiied, skated and used a bicycle as primary transportation. The Trikke is portable and great once you get the hang of it. Very wel built, solid
construction, fun to take along.
patrice mccraw - I love mine I'm just having problems really learning the technique of carving
T8 Sport - I saw an ad on TV while in Oregon. The T8 Trikke looked like it would be fun to ride.
I ordered one and after a little effort, I learned how to ride it. I was right! It is fun to ride.
It gives you a workout without the hard impact of running or jogging. You start to feel musles you forgot you had.
I like it a lot and would recomend it to anyone who wants to exercise and have fun doing it.
Dennis Petty - California
T-8 Convertible - My purpose for my buying my Trikke was strictly for the expressed need to burn off some weight and I got so much more than what I expected. It's really fun to ride. The demands to power the Trikke over let's say my mountain bike is in my opinion about three to one, so I really get my money's worth of "burn"
everytime I ride for a total body work-out.
little john - I have an older T8 v2 it has been a nice ride but because of the solid wheels, a little rough on the road.
Philip Ong - My adult daughter actually brought two T8s, one for me and one for her. The Trikke is great for exercise and cardio. I did not realize it does take some coordination because my daughter who is a fitness professional has more trouble riding it then me. It's fun beating her in a race and going around obstacles,
but she can still beat me in a foot race. In any case, we have fun bonding together at the same time getting the benefit of exercise in the great outdoors and lots of laughs. It's one of the few pieces of recreation equipment one can share with every age of the family, young and old.
kate - It is fun but I cannot do it if there is any uphill slope---too hard for me!!
Lonnie - Have been riding the Trikke for over a year now. My wife and I now ride in the early morings as it gets very warm in the desert in the afternoons. I love the Trikke simply because it will and can get your heart rate up very quickly and keep it up without having to get crazy. I have had a lot of work done on my
heart and Trikke has been the major factor in keeping my healthy heart. Thanks for being there. Lonnie Frederick
T8 Sport - I have had my Trikke for a little more than a month. My wife thought I was nuts! When I started riding it, I could go only downhill and only 20 yards. Now I am going everywhere. This morning I went around the University of Arizona and got 100 smiles, questions, and comments. People can't figure out how it goes as they look for a motor. I hung up my bike in the garage and have not ridden it since I got the Trikke. While I still stop halfway up on hills, I am getting better! Sell some more in Tucson so I can have some riding buddies!!!! I love my Trikke!!!
Sandman - My wife and I love our T8 Trikkes. I have to give her the credit for buying them, but now I am sold on them. I was skeptical about how well they would work and hold up over time. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the motion is and the how natural it feels to make the Trikke travel forward. I have some mild lower back problems and other forms of exercise often cause me some residual pain, but not so with the Trikke. |
