mike trottier - I'm a retired firefighter and this thing keeps me in great shape. I love my trikke
Brian Hughes - We have had so much fun taking turns Trikking around our subdivision, everyone stops and watches us go by. Yhanks so much for all the good times and good work outs.
caryl - I got this last year for my 53rd birthday and love it even though I still have trouble going up hill. I haven't quite figured out the secret to that! But I do work up a sweat trying and have lost about 5 lbs. Now that the weather is nicer I plan on going out on it some more and my neighbors like it too! We take turns running it around the court and over at the school tennis courts. Great workout that's fun! And people always stop and ask what it is. So I let them try it out. So far two of my friends have bought them.
T8 Sport - My T8 gets a 5 rating. This machine is built to last. I've had my trikke about 1 1/2 yr. It took about a week to get the hang of the motion. Once you get it, it's definitely addictive. It's not someting that's going to end up in the garage collecting dust. I'm always scoping out places to ride when I'm driving. I thought it was too much money until I saw the quality of materials and engineering. I say go for it!
Sal (The Old Dude) - I am a 65 year old male and I love my T-8 trikke. It was the best perches I make, health and fun wise. I would recommend the T-8 to all my senior friends.
Yours truly, Sal The Old Dude.
Geege - I was cited for speeding down a highway on a Trikke 8 with a leaf blower attached to his back. Officer Ben Stein was sitting in the parking lot of Dunkin' Donuts when he saw the spectacle. "I could not believe it," said Officer Stein. "This guy is flying down the highway passing cars on a three wheeled skateboard with handle bars." "He had a leaf blower strapped to his back and was using it like a jet engine. I clocked him at 46 mph in a 35 mph zone." "Never in my 20 year career have I seen anything like it."
When reached for comment, Geege Ferretjans, who sells the Trikkes on his web site (less leaf blower) said he was just trying to have some fun. "I knew that particular leaf blower could blow air at 250 miles per hour but I did not think it would get me going that fast! I normally can cruise at about 15-18 mph. Since starting to ride the Trikke 8, I have dropped over 65 lbs. This thing has literally saved my life."
GARY R. TORIAN M.D. - Had to give up running and roller blading because of knee and lower back issues. Bought a T8 air, and it is perfect. No impact, and since there are handle bars there's no lower back problems.
Best of all, its plain fun!
Two years and still going!!
James Gilbert - My T8 Sport is a quality, comfortable, fun machine for exercise. It's light weight and compact, easy to put in the trunk and take everywhere. Driving an 18-wheeler, I need exercise and a way to relax each week. My T8 goes on the road with me and is used in most of the fifty States. YES, I get delayed by on lookers, asking questions about what it is and how it work. They all say it looks like fun. YES, FUN is the first thing that come to mind, you don't even feel your exercising. I have been inpressed with the overall quality of the T8. I am always looking for new places to ride, as I criss cross the country. Get one, give it a try, and you'll find the whole family is using it.
Eileen Holland - I am the most enthusiastic Trikke owner on the planet. I adore the way I feel like a kid again zipping along on my Trikke. I ride to and from work everyday and enjoy the fabulous excersise benifits. Then , when I get home I take my two dogs with me for more excellent fun especially since we have learned to leave the squirrels alone.
Mark R. Steck - I saw this "thing" at the Dallas Truck Show in Aug.'08 and I was drawn to watching the young man on it carve around the convention center. Upon returning home I did my research and purchased one.(T-8 Air)
After dealing with numerous spinal injuries and being frustrated for 30+ years of not being able to do STRENUOUS EXERCISE I have found the answer. I am sweating, smiling, and have achieved VERY FAVORABLE results in achieving greatly increased mobility!
The reason I do not give it a 5 is strictly from a mechanical standpoint.I am an old "GearHead"and I see some small areas for improvement, mechanically.I actually rate it a 4.75 but there is not a choice for that in the box.
Thankfully,
Mark R. Steck/Battlefield,MO.
T-8 Sport - I have a Trikke and I've lost 35lbs since riding it, I've also convinced my wife and my neighbor to buy a couple for themselves. We now have a Trikke Crew and we visit all the skate parks in our town . Its lots of fun.
RayGina Ryan - I bought the T12 for my husband for his birthday in November and liked his so much that he ended up getting me the T8 for Christmas. The T8 went a lot faster than the T12 (of course it's lighter) I felt I carved a lot better with the T8. I LOVE IT!!!!! I have bad knees and a bad lower back. I can honestly say that this work out is awesome and FUN! I am constantly getting question about my bike. I let others try it and have gotten them to buy there own!! My dad has one, my best friend has one. My boss has one and one of my co-workers is looking into it as I type. My husband and I go around Ried Park every week and love it!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad I saw your infomercial and looked you up on line. I look foward to riding, I listen to my favorite music and life is good! My husband of 15 years rides behind me and enjoys the view!!! :)
Daniel Riestenberg - I have and older model. When I was living in town it was great but I have moved to the country and no longer have concrete to ride on. My unit cannot convert to the larger wheels so it has sat for a couple of years now. I miss it. Wish there was a conversion.
Jeff Wise - I love this thing, it's sturdy construction gives me confendence that it will give me a good return on my money. the pnumatic tires give a softer ride on the rough payment we (my wife rides a T78c) have avalible. It does have slightly more resistance with the ground, but more risistance means a better work out, right? The larger size gives you more push which makes it faster. As with other Trikkes you can work it hard or ride easy. The leather hand grips are sweet as is the general apperance and finish.
Kelly - I have owned a T8 for over 2 years and have a great time riding it in my neighborhood. I was looking for a low impact, aerobic exercise alternative to a bicycle and this is IT! I get many good comments and questions like "Wow, what is it?"
T8 - This machine has improve my health. I love the fact that I purchased it with the air tires. Althought, quite frankly - get to 85+psi is kind of hard. During the winter time in NY need to remember to oil its joins apart from that this machine run smothly! love it. best investment on myselft ever! Thank u TRIKKE
james - it realy work and the best work out I ever use. Compare to my bowflex ultimate just sitting in my garage and collecting dust. I recomended T8sport, allot of fun and it's good for my health.
Ken Coberley - I would like to win this contest, because riding a Trikke has changed my life completely. When I started riding I wasn’t doing much with or for my health. I was in my late 60’s & really not watching what I ate or doing much exercising. I started on the earliest model and worked my way up to the T8’s & the T12’s. I now ride a T8 most of the time.
At the time of this writing I have lost 15 pounds in about 3 months and almost 3” in my waist. I have plans of losing 40-50 pounds by the end of summer of ’09. I feel this is the best work out I’ve ever had, as I used to do different things for my health. I watched what I ate, I did quite a bit of walking & working out, but then my health started going down hill & I got lazy & wouldn’t much about it. I still smoked & ate anything I wanted. I finally realized I had to do something, so I quite smoking & got back into exercise
As I got older I would lie around and watch TV as I didn’t feel like doing anything. I saw the infomercial and I just had to have one and now I feel getting a Trikke was the best decision I’ve ever made. I feel so much better and have more energy now than I did when I was younger! Of course, I now watch very closely what I eat and I’m on my Trikke every day weather permitting!
Bonnie Latshaw - I've owned my Trikke T8Air for about a year. I absolutely love it, even though I haven't quite mastered the continuous ride including uphills. It's still great low-impact exercise for my 58-yr-old body. I have loved exercise since I was in my early 30's when I found how beneficial it is both mentally and physically. As I've aged, I've had to give up running and Trikke-ing is definitely an excellent replacement. My Trikke can go anywhere there are roads or sidewalks and the pneumatic tires give a smooth ride with great gripping power. I've given up running, don't have access to downhill or skate skiing anymore since I moved out of Alaska, and swimming and mountain biking are also difficult to include in my life right now. The Trikke comes out of the garage and gets me going immediately in the neighborhood and on bike trails. The only thing that would make me love it even more (if that were possible) is to get a bit more detailed instruction on how to use my body as efficiently as possible on the Trikke. The CD seems more advertisement-oriented instead of instruction-oriented. I'm a detailed person and like to learn all I can to master something. I have enjoyed the sports I've mastered very much. This is one I'd certainly like to master as well. I will keep at it as it's a great low impact all-over body exercise. Thanks, Trikke!
Joe - My wife & both own a T-8. We love it but seldon ride anymore because it is only fun on flat ground. We don't live on the SLC Salt Flats, so long expances of flat, smooth hard surfaces are rare.
Thye just sit in our storage room & stare at me as I pass them by.
Chris Thorsen - My Trikke has been a blast !. . .it took me a fall or two to realise that asphalt is not all that forgiving - now I wear guards which you should STRONGLY recommend. . .I do two miles a day. . . the exercise is great, though up hill against the wind is not alot of fun. . .it's getting loose in the front joint, which concerns me, and it's shuddering a bit when I carve left - don't know why. . .when I started I had the plastic wheels and when I hit the breaks on a hill it wore a flat spot on the wheel, so I got the air wheels. . .front tire is wearing down. . .hardly ever have use for the breaks. . .Cool. . .T *
Tim Doan - I'm a 38 yr. old who has been actively lifting weights, kettlebells, and jogging most of my life. My discipline is fueled primarily by vanity, a love of food, and a loathing for dieting. I refuse to eat less but I refuse to get out of shape! When my wife was recovering from major back surgery, she spent about 6 weeks in bed with a laptop. During this time there were not many infomercials that she could resist. One day a Trikke T8 convertible was on the front porch. I had it assembled in a half hour and we were both able to manuever it around the cul de sac within 15 minutes of initially trying. It has been a part of my fitness regimen ever since. It is lower impact than running and way more fun. I never get tired of the strange looks as I carve on by. This incredible invention has done more for my core and abs than all of the crunches in the world. I would recommend this product to anyone at any age! It is revolutionary in its design, effectiveness, and level of enjoyment. Your abs will never be the same!
roseline achenie - I bought my T8 Sport last year; I could not get it to move for a good couple of weeks. The few yards I could make gave me this feel of gliding on ice that I loved but short lived each time I could not move again. I am doing great on it now. My arthritis in my knee is gone because I didnot pay attention to it anymore because of all the fun I was having. My boyfriend has got one now, and the neighbors are all crazy about it. I live in the south; Trikkes are not familiar year. I definitely feel on top of the world on the trikke.
R. Thomas - I bought two a couple of yeara ago for the husband and I. The Trikke is a lot of fun! I ride it around the neighborhood and get a lot of questions and comments. I have skiied, skated and used a bicycle as primary transportation. The Trikke is portable and great once you get the hang of it. Very wel built, solid construction, fun to take along.
patrice mccraw - I love mine I'm just having problems really learning the technique of carving
T8 Sport - I saw an ad on TV while in Origon. The T8 Trikke looked like it would be fun to ride.
I ordered one and after a little effort, I learned how to ride it. I was right! It is fun to ride.
It gives you a workout without the hard impact of running or jogging. You start to feel musles you forgot you had.
I like it a lot and would recomend it to anyone who wants to exercise and have fun doing it.
Dennis Petty - California
T-8 Convertible - My purpose for my buying my Trikke was strictly for the expressed need to burn off some weight and I got so much more than what I expected. It's really fun to ride. The demands to power the Trikke over let's say my mountain bike is in my opinion about three to one, so I really get my money's worth of "burn" everytime I ride for a total body work-out.
little john - I have an older T8 v2 it has been a nice ride but because of the solid wheels, a little rough on the road.
Philip Ong - My adult daughter actually brought two T8s, one for me and one for her. The Trikke is great for exercise and cardio. I did not realize it does take some coordination because my daughter who is a fitness professional has more trouble riding it then me. It’s fun beating her in a race and going around obstacles, but she can still beat me in a foot race. In any case, we have fun bonding together at the same time getting the benefit of exercise in the great outdoors and lots of laughs. It’s one of the few pieces of recreation equipment one can share with every age of the family, young and old.
kate - It is fun but I cannot do it if there is any uphill slope---too hard for me!!
Lonnie - Have been riding the Trikke for over a year now. My wife and I now ride in the early morings as it gets very warm in the desert in the afternoons. I love the Trikke simply because it will and can get your heart rate up very quickly and keep it up without having to get crazy. I have had a lot of work done on my heart and Trikke has been the major factor in keeping my healthy heart. Thanks for being there. Lonnie FrederickT8 Sport - I have had my Trikke for a little more than a month. My wife thought I was nuts! When I started riding it, I could go only downhill and only 20 yards. Now I am going everywhere. This morning I went around the University of Arizona and got 100 smiles, questions, and comments. People can't figure out how it goes as they look for a motor. I hung up my bike in the garage and have not ridden it since I got the Trikke. While I still stop halfway up on hills, I am getting better! Sell some more in Tucson so I can have some riding buddies!!!! I love my Trikke!!!
Sandman - My wife and I love our T8 Trikkes. I have to give her the credit for buying them, but now I am sold on them. I was skeptical about how well they would work and hold up over time. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the motion is and the how natural it feels to make the Trikke travel forward. I have some mild lower back problems and other forms of exercise often cause me some residual pain, but not so with the Trikke. In fact, if my back is giving me trouble, I am able to ride the Trikke anyway and it usually feels better when I am done than it did when I started.
We have had the Trikkes for a couple of years now and they are still going strong. We ride them around our neighborhood and on our town's 5 mile paved rail trail. We also fold them up and take them on our trips to the coast which is a really nice feature that our bikes don't have so we don't take them. We always use the air tires and love the smooth ride.
Flavio - I am a 77 year old retired engineer and recently we purchased a Tikke T8 Air. Our intention was for my wife to use it because she cannot ride a regular bike due to vertigo problems. Both of us are going to the fittness club three times a week and I ride a regular bike the other four days in the week for about 12 miles each day while my wife walks for 3-4 miles and takes yoga classes. After getting the Trikke and starting to get used to the carving motion we realized that all our fittness exercises on various machines at the club, the walking, bike riding and yoga do not come close to the exercise one gets from riding the Trikke! What a wonderful machine - easy on my aching knees and a pleasure to ride with incredible results. Quality manufacture and excellent finish. Now we are having a problem sharing the Trikke and I will have to consider buying a second one for us to be riding and enjoy the fun toghether.
Stacia Sage - This sleek strong sexy machine helps me stay carved and sexy fit @ 51. No one believes me when I tell them that this trikke bike is why I look 10 years younger.
My neighbor lets me use his since he was injured skiing this winter. I definitely need my own !!!

Dale Fahrney - After almost 7 years of rollerbladeing it has become harder and harder to find a good place to be able to ride and have fun.
Last year I took a serious fall and needed surgery on my knee becasue of the fall.
While recooperating I saw the infomercial and thought WOW I wonder if this could replace the rollerblading that I love so much.
Well the short answer is " Yes it Can and it did" It has a learning curve but it is addictive.
It is fun but also a great workout.
The quality and workmanship of the product is serious quailty.
I've only had mine a week and I've got the mechanics down and I ride almost 3 miles every night. Looking forward to that being much longer...
You will not find a better product. It's worth every penny.
Dale
Matthew Gustafson - I have a trikke T78cs and absolutely love
it. Great cardio work out without the high
impact. Easy on my knees.
Don Tomlinson - Very awkward & frustrating first few times, but nown ***Aloha***
Jim Morris - I have the T8 Air and it difinately gives me a good workout. The biggest problem I have is when the wind is blowing it is really tough to get anywhere, unless the wind is behind you. I would like to try the other wheels to see the difference in ride and speed.
Susan - Santa brought this to our house and my son was elated... needless to say I have enjoyed it as well. I love to water ski and windsurf so this is a great way to cross train for these sports.
We both love our new toy.
yolanda vasconcellos - I bought the T8 sport as a way to get back into shape over a year ago, but i am having the hardest time getting the hang of it. One day I am cruising along the next day, I can barely budge the tire. I know it is my lack of technique and time. Once I master it I am sure i will be even more happy with It.
Sharon Mueller - I love my Trikke! I bought one after seeing the infomercial, then reading the "newbie" forum for about a month! I used to be an avid bicycle rider, but with age and some physical limitations, biking became more of a pain then a joy. Then I got my T8 and after lots of practice I am having the time of my life! I tell people "this is the most fun I've had as an adult!" It's such a thrill to carve around my rural neighborhood. It's been a great way to meet the neighbors as they stop and ask, "what's that? looks like fun!" For anyone considering a T8 I say, go for it! It's a great workout and more fun than you can imagine.
Bill HIll - My wife and I enjoy our trikke's. Our biggest complaint is that they are VERY difficult to manouver up even the smallest incline. They are very fun to ride on a flat, or down hill surface. We do feel like we are getting a good work out.
Stephen Bryant - I have never used a T8 Sport. I am 51 years old and would use the Trikke simply to stay fit and to enjoy the outdoors!!
sherry wood - I have a pre-owned T83 cv trikke that I just got. Just recently I found that sweet area when learning to ride it...now I love it!! I can't wait to be able to take it everywhere. Thanks for the wonderful feeling.
sherry
scott gerard - Greatly engineered ride. It has encouraged me to ride daily. A great work-out. Takes patience to master all the correct moves.
Sandy - I have had my Trikke since last summer, the weather here in Indiana limits riding time but I love to ride. Great workout and very enjoyable.
Elizabeth M Castro - I boutght my trike in 2008 and LOVE IT! all of the residents in the park like it a lot as well as my coworkers my son in law and grandson and grandaugther all of us have a lot of fun with it and me I'm getting stronger since I star using it so as you see I need another one just for me.
G-Meister - We have had our Trikke T-8 for a year now, and really enjoy it. In spite of the model name's resemblance to a certain killer cyborg...
Katherine - I love riding my T8 Sport! Friends have tried and loved it as well. It is such a fun way to exercise. Knowing that I can ride after work, makes the work day much better. It is a great aerobic work out and builds strength at the same time! My core is much stronger!
Laurie - We absolutely love our Trikke! Can't wait until we can get a second...This is the best, most complete as well as being the funnest way to work out.. You don't realize you are... until you stop....:) Then you will feel muscles you didn't know existed.. but it's all in a very good way. All of our friends and family want one.. they have a ball taking turns. Everyone is a believer! It's a very well built machine.. we were most pleased with the quality! Get one.. you won't be disapointed.. and the only thing you will lose is.. your old boring workout!
Scott Hughes - Solid construction with trustworthy components. Had this for months now and enjoy it. It was my first Trikke and learning to ride it was fairly easy. Within two weeks I was turning out a few tricks and could tame most reasonable hills. Riding a Trikke certainly gives a total body workout.
Neil - I received my Trikke 2 weeks ago. I have found it to be a great, fun way to get exercise. I already feel the "new" me being molded. I look forward to riding it more & more as the weather gets better. I recommend this for any one! It is fun & good for you.
Jay Jacobs - I have been riding a trikke product for about 7 years starting with the original t-8 as seen on tv and graduated to the t-12
about 4 years ago. It has replaced my bike
for fun and exercise. It is so easy to take it where ever I go. Fold it up and I take it on public transportation or I carry it in the back seat of my truck. I recommend the T-12 to everyone who is interested in it.
Carl from Tampa - Trikkes are the perfect vehicle to ride the many trails in oure area. Great way to get in and stay in shape.
T8 sport - I bought three trikke in the past and enjoyed riding with my grandchildren. Trikke is a great exercise machine and my family enjoyed them very much. Even at my age, trikke strenthens and tones my muscle. I recommend trikke not only for the young but also for the active mature adults.I do not know which models I bought in the past but I dream of owning a T8 Sport trikke for my own.
Ms. E - I was a slow learner and benefited from some expert training by Lisa Hooligan in Orange County, CA.
Since then it has been all uphill-or should I say downhill! I love the full-body workout I get and listening to salsa music on my MP3 player adds to the fun of Trikking!
saratoga - Excellent construction. Well designed. Fully adjustable to accomodate individual users - I am 6'2" and 220 lbs. Simple to maintain. Fits easily into many vehicles. Excellent exercise and just plain fun to ride!
John Clark - I will start out by saying that this is the most fun you can have on a device without a motor. I love the ease of set up and storage. The Trikke has performed well beyond my expectations. The other neat thing is the amount of people that you meet that are interested in how it works and they like the way it looks. I would recommend this to anyone that wants some fitness in their lives without the boring stair climber etc. A person can spend hours cruising around and exploring along with getting fit. Love the Trikke.....Keep up the great fun.
randal - my first trikke was a t78.started 6 months ago. ride daily 30 minutes. aside from losing 2 notches on my belt in 2 months, never felt better. the t8 is a really tight ride. feels smooth and flowing. my first trikke is poly wheels. this air ride is very soft. foldinup is solid and positive. the air pressure wasa problem to maintain until i got a 12volt car tire inflator with built in pressure guage. 3 minutes to 80# and i'm off! i rteally miss my trikke if i'm on the road for 3 days.getting my 22 year old daughter on t78 as soon as she gets home from college. why dread going to a gym that costs $20/wk when u have fun trikking. i tell all my friend that olde trikkers are more fun than olde bikers!
Donna D - I have the T8 Sport model. This was not the first model I purchased. The first one had the hard plastic wheels. I met some people at the park on their Trikke's. After speaking with them and trying the model with the air wheels I realized that I would most likely enjoy the ride better with the air tires. I was right. I have to say this is the first piece of "exercise equipment" I have purchased and actually use on a regular basis. In fact I really feel misteated if my schedule and the weather do not let ride at least a couple times a week. It took sometime to really get ride down and to build up some strenght but I recall the day that it all came together. Once I got the ride action down I was off and enjoying it every mile. the only thing I would say that I was not too happy about is the return policy and the adjustment that they take if you return the Trikke, I think it was a bit heavy handed.
Brandywine High School - Wilm. DE - I first fell in love with the T8 at the AAHPERD convention in Baltimore, MD. Thinking outside the box for new equipment for my students to be physically active, I thought this was it. AND IT WAS. ALL of my students must give the T8 a try and thats from obese to handicapped. Then its their choice if they would like to use them again. I have many students who want to get back on an ride which makes me create a list of names so they can rotate turns(this is where I wish I could have more and they could ride all period and not take turns). What a great teaching tool for me to create another venue for my students to look into a lifetime activity.
Thanks.
Sandy
Lynne Exon - I own a Trikke 8 with the poly wheels. It is the best adult toy I have ever owned. I get the most incredible commets when I ride in my neighborhood. However, the poly wheels don"t work well on my streets. I really need the air tires so I can futher impress people with my trikke. I wish they were around when I was a youner "kid". Thanks for reading this!!!
Phil & Peggy - We are proud of our T8 Trikkes. We have had them almost 2 years and enjoy the heck out of them. We have strengthened our upper bodies as well as our legs and feet. The Trikke is one of the most FUN machines available in the USA. We enjoy the outdoors even more now that we can go almost anywhere on our Trikkes. We highly recommend them to all ages. Thank you so much for these marvelous machines.
Vicki - I love my T8. I can fly around my neighborhood and get a great workout with no pain! The low impact workout is an amazing experience. I can't ride a bike without experiencing pain. I have major low back issues yet with the trikke I can get a great cardio workout as well has strenghtening my leggs, hands, arms and torso. I am alot more flexible than before I started riding. This was the best investment for my body. Not to mention how much fun I have riding on the bike trail.
DartGirl - Bought the Trikke while on vacation in Solvang Calif. Love it, still learning how to handle it. I get questions whenever I take it on the road. This year I plan on getting Trikked out all summer long.
Scott Duckett - The T8 Sport is a very solid product.
I bought the T67 for my daughter last year. I occasionally ride it (even though it's a little undersized) and have a blast.
I finally bit the bullet and bought one for me. It is a huge upgrade. It is a much smother ride. The wheels get much better traction making the carving much funner.
I would (and do) recomend it to anyone who sees me riding it.
Shipping was very fast (on both) and assembly takes 10 minutes (tops). The only issue I had was in setting the handlebar heigth; I wish there were some guidelines for that.
Again, I highly recomend.
jonhopkins - I started out with the old school Trikke 8 first model with the poly wheels... had a blast. But I really like the off-road experience. So I wanted to try the Rubber tires for better traction and better shick absorption. Now with the sport and rubber tires. I look for the biggest hill to go down to Get an adrenaline rush. Ive mastered the self propelling pushing and carving technique, so I can turn any parking lot or sidewalk in to a play ground. UNfortunately It was stolen out of my truck. I lost my Job. But as soon as I can get another one i will. Ive lost about 25 pounds riding the trikke for about an hour a day. Im tall 6'4" so I look 7 feet tall when im riding. I also have a bad ankle so running is out or the question.
John Hinkston - 2003 I bought my Trikke 8 to lose fat. 2005 I was declared disabled. My trikke 8 has kept me out of a wheel chair sence. my bushings are bad & it is hard to ride. im waiting to see when if there is a last ride for old girl. Do thay have a trikke cemetary?
Juan - So much fun... It may look odd, and people either have a questionalble look or a big grin when you carve your way down a street or local bike trail, But I love excercising on my Trikke. I just completed a 20 mile ride the first half up a basin In Azusa, CA, then all downhill and fun...Cant wait to run again'
Lawrence Rosenberg - I had a left hip replacement approx. 21/2
years ago. I went thru the normal rehab & recuperation time. Not only did I go to the hospital's rehab center 3 times a week but also purchased several pieces of exercie equipment to use at home. I was doing pretty well but eventually "hit a wall." Every piece of equipment only offered repetitive movements & became very boring. One day I saw the TV comercial for the Trikke & something just struck me about it. I decided to order
the Trikke T8 model. When it arrived it was very easy to assemble. My friends thought I was crazy & they were afraid that I would just aggrivate the hip. Well, I started slowly & even though I was always an athlete & very well co-ordinated it took me a couple of days to get the knack of it. But once I found the "sweet spot" & kept rolling it was such a great feeling! Well, now, it's been about a year since I've owned my Trikke T8 & I'm addicted to trikking! I try to ride at least once day. My hip feels great! In fact, my whole body has been transformed for the better! It is an awesome upper & lower body exercise! I have lost 43 pounds so far & haven't been in such good shape since my basic training days in the Army! It also works the core muscles really well! And, the topper is that I get outdoors, go far & wide on my Trikke, it's much more fun than a bicycle, & it's a terrific conversation piece. People always stop me & ask lots of questions about the Trikke. I have made several friends because of the Trikke! It is just an all-around fun machine & fun ride! Even the physical therapists I had after my hip replacement are looking into the Trikke! Would I recommend the Trikke? What do you think? In conclusion, I luv, luv, luv my Trikke T8 & when I travel out of my area I just fold it up (very easily) & put it in my car & take it wherever I go. To para-phrase a famous company's slogan: "I don't leave home without it!"
Rita - My husband and I both own a Trikke. It is a great workout, and lots of fun. It's not only a great ride for the young, but also for the young at heart.
