Just a happy Dad- Thanks to Trikke Have to say a must for everyone to try!! A great exercise for all ages I am 40 With a serious heart condition and it helps me stay in shape and is better than walking. From day one I was hooked on the T-78, now my son has a T-8 and he is only 7 yrs old, but loves to ride with me. This is one of the best exercise I have done in along time and lots of fun at the same time. The T78 is very well built and is worth every penny I paid. 1 The trike is very fun and challenging once you learn how to ride it. Learn how does take some practice, but is fairly reasonable. This trike is made solidly, and I only had one minor manufacturing defect.

Happy Man I purchased mine about 2 months ago and I do really enjoy Trikking. As soon as the budget allows I will be buying one for my partner, but for now we take turns. After about the first week of riding it really loosened up and I finally find my Rock n Roll groove. Still trying to get better at the hills, but its fun and I think it is really great for my health. physical education teacher This is hands down the best thing I have ever done for my whole personal health as well as the health of my students. Since riding in May 2008, I have lost about 30 lbs. and feel great. I recently had heel surgery and was happy to be able to continue working out without all the stress on my joints with the Trikke. My doctor said I recovered one month ahead of schedule!! I have influenced many students to buy Trikkes as well as their parents by riding through the neighborhood and providing fitness nights at school. Activist I've been riding an upgraded T78cs for over a year now, and have been teaching people how to ride it all over America... not just North America either. I've put thousands of miles on my Trikke and it's no longer in perfect condition, but it still works and I still use it.
I'm planning on concentrating on doing some writing now and of course plan to use the Trikke both for travel and exercise for as long as it holds up to such extensive use or until I can manage to get a newer one. Perhaps something with bigger wheels and a motor to help me out on those long up-hill runs or against the wind when I'm already exhausted... and yes it does get exhausting, like any good exercise does if you keep at it enough, but it also helps build endurance.
When I got my Trikke modified Trikke T78cs (with all 8 inch air tires), I had certain things in mind, and the bottom line is that is has served me well and exceded my expectations.
I've noticed that the Trikke product line has expanded during that time and in line with the kinds of suggestions I have been hearing in my travels. Please, keep up the good work.
Thanks for making a quality product that is not only a functional form of transportation but also great exercise and when there's time to enjoy it, great recreation as well... and even entertainment for many onlookers trying to figure out what makes it go.

Beautician Since I bought myself the TR78 for Christmas, the local FitClub where I work out gave me permission to practice on their indoor track while the weather was bad. I love the workout. Our weather has been extremely wet this spring and I'm looking forward to many hours of enjoyment!

Joseph Rodda A little tight in the turning radius but the carving is exceptional and you can attain great speed. It does not coast very far, so you are forced to keep pushing which gives you a fantastic workout. The tires are vulnerable to road hazards which can lead to unavoidable flats and the tires are difficult, if not impossible to repair on your own. Better performance in damp conditions but best to avoid any wet surfaces at all.

Grandmother of 5 My Trikke has a front air tire and solid back tires. I've had fun with it but still have trouble going UP an incline. When I ride for 1/2 hour, I feel pumped and happy. I'm soon to be 65 years old and am looking forward to many more healthy years carving on my Trikke!

graphic designer I have no rate on this trikke yet becuz I'm still struggling on how to ride it. Since I'm deaf and the video instructions on DVD does not have closed captions. I saw it on the informercial and it look so much fun and a good way to lose weight. I am deperately wanted to succeed. My suggestion that Trikke company should add closed captions on DVD.

Fun but sensitive Fun and innovative.
Ride is a pleasure --- feels a bit like skiing. A bit like swimming, too.
You don't feel like you're working hard, but when your ride is over you know you have been.
Safer than rollerblading and you can share the Trikke with all your friends.
Sensitive to weather, unfortunately --- water gets into some of the parts if you take it out in the wet and then it develops an irritating squeak.
My biggest complaint: it doesn't come with enough instructions on good maintenance.
Very please with service --- I destroyed the bearing in one of the rear wheals and the company was happy to replace the whole wheel.
I give it a five cause there's nothing like it out there.

Ms. I bought the T78 air in June of 2008 for my grandson. No one in my family has ever been able to use it. No one in my family has ever found the "sweet spot", I don't think there is one. We have all tried over and over and over. I hate the dam thing! I paid $300 for this TRIKKE and would love to have my money back. It is still like new and just sits in my storage room. If my 14 year old grandson who is a sports nut can't figure this thing out, no one can. If it didn't cost so much to return, I would return it, I still have the original box. I have tried to Give me back my money!!!!

East Coast Trikking I live in the East where finding long, flat surfaces are virtually impossible, but I take my Trikke to basketball courts, outdoor tracks, whatever I can find. It folds to fit in a back seat or trunk. The ride is smooth, yet gives a great workout. Everyone stops me to ask about it, and I love showing it off. It takes some practice to handle inclines, but it can be done. The Trikke comes with a video, which is really helpful, and business cards to pass out to those inquisitive passersby! I'm 45 and use it for weight loss, but my skinny, 14 year old son has just as much fun with it.

me not much different from the slightly heavier T8. Needs to be flat terrain or very slight hills to get any speed at all. Going into wind is a problem. Tires need to be fully inflated at high pressure to get to normal speeds.

Ms. I am 50 years old and love my Trikke. I ride my Trikke 5 days a week for exercise and it is a fun easy way to stay in shape. It folds easily for storage and pops back out to ride quickly. I can go up slight hills and get a workout and then cruise down with the wind in my hair and a big smile across my face. I ride early in the morning and it energizes me for the whole day.

The most fun on three wheels! I am a new Trikke owner and have been riding for only a few weeks. By my thrid day, I had the groove...not bad for 52! I love it and am eager to get on it and go. Dad The T78 is the largest of 2 carving trikkes purchased for my daughters 2 years ago. I had as much fun on it as her. A unique cambering vehicle,with great freewheeling and turning capabilities, it swept the streets with style.I sold them on ebay,getting more responses than I ever expected. These trikkes are hot!!!

All it takes to master the trikke is fearlessness.....you have to keep a low center of gravity and lean lean lean just like skiing or roller blading. If you don't keep a good squat (low center of gravity) on any road seams, gravel, pinestraw, etc, you may experience a tragic trikke accident.....(scraped knees and wrists LOL) But if you are too cautious, you will not get up any speed on the trikke which can help you master unsmooth pavement or hills. After almost a year in my neighborhood, it is still a topic of conversation when I go out...I always see someone new who is amazed at the sight of the trikke. We need to win with this review because my boyfriend needs a trikke too to get him off of the couch!!!! Then we could ride together!!!! I am 43 and try every new exercise fad there is. I am a big believer that if you don't use it, you lose it...and teh trikke keeps me motivated to use it!!!
ATL Street Riders We do love our Trikkes enjoy carving up the roads so we got two T78 Deluxe and we fly all over Atlanta, Ga. Love it in Piedmont Park 2.5 miles loop we do it about 4 times, Centenial Park about 1.25 miles, Stone Moutain Park 5 miles the longest and the fastest, but has the most hills. The most fun we have is at home in Lithonia where the track run we take is a 1.25 miles. We can go about 35mph downhill for .25 miles spot and we run it about 4 to 5 times its best at night with lights WOW! You know Trikkes are more than a workout, its a lifestyle. Shaiy I love trhe T78 Deluxe ! In my opinion, it's the most bang for your buck. It rides so smooth and is very nimble and responsive. It is a beauty also. The ONLY difference between this and the T8 is this is made of steel and the T8 has fenders which you could probably add on if you want to. The T78 is SHARP !!

great workout I get a great work out, I winter in Florida and summer in Illinois. I have to work on the hills. I'am 63 years old. The T78 is great.
Angry Trikke Owner Ok, what am I doing wrong??? I actually have a T78Air and unless I'm on a hill and head down, I CAN NOT get this thing to work. I'm all for a good workout if it's actually doing what it should, but on level ground I can't get this thing to go. I wish there was someone in my area (Chicago) who could teach me how to use it as the video is worthless to me. I'm sorry - I want to like it, but I'm just irritated by the whole thing. And now in this economy, I doubt if I could get anyone to buy it off me for the price I paid.
49 years young I love my Trikke! I feel like a million bucks carving with the wind blowing through my hair, and I've lost almost 20 lbs having a blast. And my legs are as toned now as they were 15 years ago. My kids tell me I have a smile from ear to ear when I'm riding. I wish I'd bought my Trikke years ago.

T78 Air I've owned my Trikke T78 Air for a year. It's big fun and a great workout. I can put 12 to 15 miles on it a day and still be ready for more. Beats what you would pay at a gym.
Betty Jo Polley I purchased my Trikke last year from an add on TV.I had given up on roller blades for fear of falling and the Doctors were wanting to start me on pills for the pain in my knees and the constand swelling. I am 70 years old as of last week.That was what brought me to your wonderful product. MR. I struggled at first and felt a little self consious as I'm a little old (61) but after a while, I got good enough to propel the Trikke around an oval about 150 yards which was 1/2 slightly up hill. Got a couple smiles from some ladies!
teacher - 8th grade My T-78 Air is the only piece of exercise equipment I have bought that remains fun after a year. I look forward to riding each afternoon after school. Trikke 78 air a fun workout My Trikke 78 air is great for a fun workout or just a fun ride in Central Park. I have added the electric motor option which in NYC makes for a much easier time with all the hills I encounter. I can switch on the motor if I'm trying to go up a ten block long hill. I now can ride to and from work, because my trikke is easy to fold up take into the building where it stores like an umbrella. When it's time to go home I'm looking forward to a fun workout as I commute. It's the best use of my limited time ever! The Trikke 78 air is light enough to take up to my 4th story walkup apartment with no trouble. This is the ultimate City commuting vehicle, never any parking hassels because it goes inside with me!
Grandma 9 x's Long story short ... I am a cancer survivor. I have had a lot of problems breathing since chemo and was looking for a way to strengthen my lungs while having fun ... the treadmill fell short on the fun aspect. So, last winter, I bought a trikke for myself for my 52nd birthday. I live in Michigan so I prayed for spring to come quickly so I get out and ride. It took me about a week to be able to ride to our garage (about 150'). Now I can go up hill, down hill and I am having a blast!
