Sweet ride for a beginner! - Poly wheels are fast and nice to learn on, yet it is easy to convert to an all air upgrade which I did after a couple of months... I bought a second one also, and after upgrading it to Air Tires all the way around, I also added an e-Kit, and have been commuting back and forth 5 miles to work with it, using about 10% motor in places where carving is not practical... Great excercise and great fun!

I got a Trikke as a novelty and was thrilled with how fun it is and because of that what a good workout it is. My husband got into it to and now we take turns - until we can get a second one!

Several years ago I ordered one... due to high demand, I was given the choice to wait until more were available or cancel my order... I cancelled my order, but never forgot about this product. Last Autumn I ordered one for myself and one for my child. I still haven't quite mastered how to get it moving forward without starting out pushing off the pavement with my foot. Still, my daughter and I love it and are constantly wanting to get out to ride them. Our little pup likes to run next to us, as he loves to run. Thank you for making such an awesome recreation/transportation/aerobic vehicle, all in a single product. Amazing! I also love that it is portable.

I enjoy riding my trikke. My kids think it is a lot of fun too. I need a very smooth surface to ride on though. The road is too difficult for me to trikke on. I turn music on and ride it in my husband's shop whenever I have a free minute. It is always a source of interest to anyone who sees it.

This is an excellent piece of exercise equipment. Lot of fun and a terrific workout, especially on hills (which took some getting used to!). Also easy to transport in our RV and car.

My Trikke is a lot of fun. It doesn't do very well on pavement. I take it to the school I teach at when we have an inservice day and the kids are not around and all the teacher's love to ride it up and down the halls. I enjoy the exercise I get when I ride it.

T78 Convertible
I was amazed at how comfortable this was and how quickly, not only, I, and my daughters, were able to handle it. We rode it through rain, sleet, snow and had to put it up when the snow came up to my ankles. You look at it and you would think it is brand new. I come from Vermont and the salt and sant didn't kill it. I take care or it as I do my rollerskates, TLS. This was a most awesome investment I gained pleasure, exercise, coordination (my girls) lots of stares muscle tone, and a sense of freedom. The one thing that is great is the fact that I'm not BORED with it this year after having it aver a year. It is a piece if exercise equipment disguised as "FUN"!!!

I've been a walking enthusiast for nearly 20 years and then I bought the Trikke. I love this wonderful machine, it is the best purchase I've ever made and I tell everyone about it. I ride as often as I can and regularly get 6 miles a day on my lunch break. I can't get enough time on it to be satisfied. TRIKKE ROCKS!

Trikke Fan!
I thoroughly enjoy riding the Trikke and find it to be quite a fun challenge and a workout. I haven't totally mastered the carving technique yet and I am still pushing off quite a bit. I plan to purchase the air wheels and think that will help me master the Trikke more quickly and will give me a much smoother ride. I really like how the Trikke folds for easy mobility too. One disappointing thing I have discovered is that I ride alone and it would be more fun if my husband had one so we could ride together!

The T78 is an awesome product. It fun to ride on flat ground, but the real fun is on a slightly down-hill. I get a good fun workout on a slight incline. Great for fun, GREAT for workouts.

T78 air
My first Trikke is a T78 air. I bought it immediately after riding a demo at the local dealership. I had read about the Trikke on the web for several months, watched the videos, and read the forum. But I hesitated to buy something so large and costly without seeing on in person. The T78 was larger than I expected, but the right size and price point for me. I bought the Trikke as a means of exercise. I am fighting a weigh problem, but exercise has never been a part of my weight loss programs. I wasn't an outdoor person, and a previous back injurty prevented me from participating i many forms of exercise. My doctor recommended weight-bearing exercize, and I knew that aerobic exercise should be balanced with weight training. It is s shame that there is a learning curve for the Trikke. I believe there would be more buyers, and fewer owners who give up and hang them in their garages because they don't get the feeling of fun immediately. But for those of use who take the challenge and stay with it, it is worth the effort. What kept me going in the beginning when I wasn't able to step on the Trikke and just go, was that it felt like I just didn't know the right movement, not that there was something difficult about using the machine itself. I had read the forums about finding the "sweet spot", and as I made adjustments to how I used my arms and legs, I began to get glimpses of the fun that was promised. That was enough to keep me working at it. On my blog I have a list of how my life has been changed by owning a Trikke. The main points are lost pounds, lost inches, and good friends I have made with fellow trikkers. Specifically regarding the T78 air, this size is appropriate for me. It is a good compromise between size and weight. It is small enough to fit folded in the back of my Honda CR-V. It is made with solid components, but I am still able to life it to travel. The air tires are quiet. The brakes are very strong. I have recommended trikking to family and friends, but also to my primary care physician, my bariatric surgeon, and my chiropractor. They are all intrigued by the amount and type of exercise that can be achieved without a gym. I don't know if you have noticed this, but the side-to-side movement a Trikke rider makes once they are comfortable with it, looks like someone strolling down a country lane whistling. How fun is that!

After reviewing the infomercial many times I became obcessed with getting a trike.Upon receiving it I was not disappointed. It is very well built easy to assemble and a blast to ride. After learning how to ride it,it was amazing that you could get the cardio without the impact and it's a blast to ride. I have been exercising most of my adult life and now at 43 I try to choose wisely how to train so I don't tear up my joints.I have been running for about ten years and I fear for my knees.Thank to the trikke as I get better riding it I will stop running completly and rely on my trike for fun and cardio. Thanks Trikke I also love that it's made in america

it's AWESOME!
I think it's one of the most amazing thing invented. It lets you do really good exercise and it's not that hard. Besides, it looks really cool when you're on it. At first I thought it's mechanism was kind of fragile, but it seems to be firm, because thank God it hasn't broken yet, because sometimes when I carry it one of the legs moves in a way it isn't supposed to, but then I just move it back and everything's fine.

This has to be the single most, greatest thing since sliced bread. I have had 3 now and love every second carving. I hope to graduate to the T12 one day. But as for now, the all pneumatic T8 is the best. Everytime I go out to Trikke, I get stopped by so many people asking what it is, where to get one, and is it easy to ride. Well it is. I am a larger guy and every spring, when it gets warmer, and things start turning green again, there is nothing like the freedom and fun you get Trikke-ing!! 39yr old male in MO. 5++++++++++++++

RETIRED (and loving it(
when I first purchased my T78air, I took it out of the box without reading the instructions, rode it to the corner, and on the way back to my house, I had thoughts of returning it. Since then I have had a complete 360 turn-a-round toward it. Riding it for over an hour each day, my body began to feel like it did some 25-30 years ago. I only wish there was some way they would hit the airwaves like the ten-speed bikes did once, long live trikkes.

I have owned the T7 8 for 1.5 years. I have ridden it nearly every day. I have worn out a complete set of tires! It is a great workout for the lower body and with minimal impact. It is truly an exercise that you can do all your life. I have had many people ask about it and want to try it for themselves. Several have bought one after my demonstration. Thank you for such a versatile product. Sincerely, Ken

Trikking is great! I'm a 60 year old who used to run. I can't run anymore because of tight calf muscles and arthritis in my knees. But, I can hop on my trikke and do 5 or 6 miles and feel wonderful, having fun too! My only recommendation is to buy a model with all three air tires. The polyurethane wheels don't work very well on rough road surfaces. I can't wait to upgrade.

I bought a T78 convertible several weeks after seeing the TV advertisement. After viewing all the video's available a number of times my wife and I are still trying to find the "sweet spot". We have a parking lot behind our house which is a great place to practice. Unfortunately it's eihter slightly downhill or uphill. The downhill is really fun, somewhat like downhill sking but not exactly. My son took it out for a first time spin and crashed after several times around the parking lot. I advised him to watch the video's especially about how to ride safely. My wife crashed a week later (just as she thought she had it down). I'm waitng for my turn. We are still excited about learning how to ride it and are not planning on giving up. As for the T78, I think it is very well made. The unit is still together after two good crashes. I can't even find any scratches on it. It's a little tight to unfold but I put some WD40 on the latches and I believe after more use it will loosen up. I intend on upgrading the rear tires in the near future. We choose the T78 because of the price. Even if we stop using it in the future we won't have invested too much money in it. The T78 is a good beginning machine and I think my wife and I will probably beat it up learning on it and then upgarde to more advanced machines later.

Trikke nut
I own an older model T8 which is very similar to the T78 convertible now available. I live in New England where the hilly suburbs provide a smorgasbord of terrain for your carving entertainment! It can take a good month for you to really get into the rhythm of the Trikke, but once you do, you'll be able to power up hills and really crank up the speed on the straightaways. The Trikke is much more fun than a bike because you can pick your path. I've found you can even have fun carving against the slight curve between the center and edge of a road. Great for picking up speed even on an otherwise uphill run. The Trikke is very conspicuous in the Northeast. You will get attention! People want to know how it works, whether it's hard to learn, and what kind of tricks you can do. Great conversation starter on the bike trails. A word of advice for the Northeast, get something with air tires. Old New England pavement can really do a job on your fillings, and can cause traction problems at high speed if you have all urethane wheels like I do. Spring for the air tires. I love Trikking and can easily tag along with the family on bike rides. If you have a serious cyclist in your family, you may have trouble keeping up, but I can keep pace with my kids no problem.

Absolute best fun investment I've made since my kids. I've been all over the U.S. as a commercial driver and my T78cs goes with me. I've been stopped by security in Vegas, San Antonio, (the Alamo) and dozens of large metropolitan cities, and they all say the same thing... "You're not allowed to be on that here!" Then they want to know where I got it, all in the same breath. Even got my mom to try it and she's looking for that knee replacement so she can go carving with the grandkids. I highly recommend getting one just because! So, DO IT!!

Nuts
My wife and I received our T78 convertibles Friday, and by Saturday I felt like I could be in one of your commercials. It rained Saturday morning so I played around on it in the garage with my wife and I joked with her and said, "quit babying it and ride it". Maybe I should have learned from her cautiousness because within a few minutes, I was in the garage laying on my back with a cracked head. No, she didn't hit me with it, I pulled a wheelie and went too far back. Next thing I know, I'm seeing stars. It's Monday now and I'm still hurting. Needless to say, I should've been wearing a helmet and not acting like I was 10 years old, but more like the 43 that I am. I have to admit, I do feel like a kid again with the Trikke. Later in the evening, I went to get on the Trikke against her advice, merely because it's so much fun. I don't want to get off of it. This time, she came out and insisted I wear her helmet. Despite the pain, I managed to zoom up and down the street and I can't wait to get home today to go ride. If there is one tip to give, I'd say, wear a helmet and most importantly, respect the Trikke, and your wife.

My wife and I are both avid trikkers. We are in our 60s and are having a ball. We live in an area not known for flatlands but have found the moderate hills to be the best for conditioning. The only problem we have found is that the screws come loose from the vibrations and have to tightened frequently. Otherwise, we pop the trikes in the car and take them whereever we go. We are moving back to a minivan for trips with two trikkes and two dogs. It's a lot more fun than walking or running and much more exercise than biking.

Although I am a man who played football, basketball, baseball, and golf all through school, I was never one who enjoyed the work out side of sports. Once the sporting career was over after college, I was able to stay in pretty good shape, thanks to genetics, but in my late 30's started to realize again the importance of excercise to preserve my body's longevity. I tried to run, walk, play recreation basketball, and bike among other things but could never stick with it because I did not ENJOY them. When I saw the Trikke infomercial late one evening, I went to the website to find out more and the next day went online to show my wife. As it turned out, she purchased the T78 Convertible for my 40th birthday. In only a few short months, I had worn out the polyurethane wheels and purchased the air tires to continue my carving experience. I can undeniably say that my Trikke is the most enjoyable excercise I have EVER done and I look forward to Trikking at every opportunity. My next Trikke purchase will be for my 9 year old son who loves to steal mine and go for a spin. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy the health benefits that come with the best all around body and cardio workout that I have ever had fun doing.

We are stationed in Naples, Italy, and get the strangest looks tooling around the base on our trikke, which we both use as a primary workout. The difference with the trikke is that its a FUN workout! This is a truly unique experience that is great for your physical fitness regimen; challenging but doable (and becomes increasingly enjoyable as you continue to get better/faster). More fun than running, more demanding than cycling.

Great for smaller women or teens. Easy ride with front air tire - make sure the air pressure is high or expect a harder ride. Sturdy frame for confidence in riding, yet light enough to carry and pack into a viehicle. Love the positionable handle bars, works differnt parts of your arms at different heights. My T8 is not convertible, though I wish it were. The polyurethane wheels are not very good on old asphalt and it's almost impossible to go uphill on that kind of road. On smooth pavement, the little guy is great fun and I do love it. I just don't happen to live near any smooth pavement. Air wheels are definitely the way to go. I was glad to see that most of the current offerings have the upgraded wheels.

I loved my Trikke from the moment it arrived. It was really a blast to ride and I am sure I've never been on any other machine that gave me a better full body workout than the Trikke. I do have some dissapointment with the the T78 Convertable though. After only a couple of weeks on my Trikke I already new I should have started with a higher model. I don't think the polyurethane wheels on the rear are suited for anyone. Mine were worn down after only a couple of months and at that point the rear wheels on my Trikke had started skipping across the pavement which I am not sure is caused from the worn wheels or another problem with the Trikke. I am going to order the pneumatic tires in hopes it solves the tire skipping issue. If it doesn't, I suppose I will have to make a warranty claim. My advice to people who are even somewhat atheletic and are interested in a fun and vigorous workout is to start with the T78 Deluxe or T8 Sport which I plan to upgrade to as soon as I resolve the isues with my current Trikke.

I bought a trikke after wanting one for years. I finally could afford a refurbished one, it is in great shape. My husband and I are both out of shape and over weight. I was always athletic, and I miss being in good shape. I saw this, thought it would be a good way for myself and husband to not only get into shape, but also have fun while doing it. I like the no impact that we get. I would like a smaller one for my two children to share, so they can join in the fun and excitement. My 5 year old cried, because she is too small and couldn't try it :( So, maybe.......my 7 year old tries to ride, but it's way too big for him too.

Very Happy Riding my Trikke
I bought a refurbished Trikke about a year ago after having tried some imitation Trikkes that never worked. The Trikke worked instantly, and I have been happily trikking ever since. I upgraded the back tires to air tires. I love riding my trikke- I get a full body workout without feeling lke I am actually exercising! It's great! With Trikking only 15 minutes a day, I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks! I also bring it with me when I travel to Paris, and ride along the Seine. People are always inquiring about my Trikke! I am proud to tell them about it every time! Very sincerely, Darcy Hull, a happy Trikker!

A friend and I ordered the T78 Air last summer. We were very excited! I enjoy cambering vehicles (when I was a kid you could not get me off my Roller Racer) and so I thought the idea of a standing version that could be rode for longer distances was a fantastic idea! That said, my Trikke was a little disappointing. I'm not sure if it would be easier with poly wheels - if so, I'd like some. We tried learning on the flattest, smoothest areas we could and still could not maintain momentum for very far. It was easier starting on a downgrade, but that is not a very realistic situation. I haven't given up, but that enthusiasm is waning. I'd like very much for this "2" to turn into a "5".

I'm into working out at the gym and rollerblading in the summer by the lake. After learning more about the Trikke on TV and watching how much fun people were having riding one, I was sold! I upgraded to the 8" air wheels when I purchased my T78. The wheels were on back order so I had to ride with the 7" poly wheels for a few weeks. It was easy to assemble and I caught on in just a few days after watching the helpful DVD that was included. When the 8" air wheels finally showed up, I installed them and experienced an even better ride!! I would recommend a Trikke to anyone who is looking for a fun alternative to rollerblading or biking or for anyone who wants an overall cardio workout.

Now that the Seattle weather has cleared, I was able to get my Trikke on the road. With two clicks I was able to lift and carry it to the car for a trip to get the tire inflated. How convenient! This sturdy machine gave me confidence to hop on and start out. I was able, after reviewing the training tape several times, to mentally understand the principle and to be successful my first try. Now I'm making new friends as I gracefully pass people in my neighborhood who all shout greetings.

Originally I bought a T78-CS because I enjoy skiing and we have sorely little snow in Maryland. What I didn't realize is that the T78 helped me loose 30 pounds and keep it off. The rules are simple - eat less and better - and have one hour of vigorous exercise per day. One doesn't go far in Maryland without encountering hills. I've gotten better at them, but have a way to go before conquering great distances. The furthest I've gone is 8 miles. I'm amazed at the technology and "toughness" of the Trikke. Overall, it has required little maintenance considering the fact that I've put hundreds of miles on it. I do have a couple of complaints - First, I go through a front tire in about four months and at that point cords are showing through all the way around. I wish the tires had more "meat" on them. It's an expense and bother to change them. Secondly, what's with the spacers? It's as though one is retrofitting a third-party part on to the Trikke. Why not have wheels that go on without spacers - and knock-off hubs even, like my bike? Finally, the wheel bearing and spacer arrangement is also odd and error-prone. I had to replace one in a set of "air" wheels that I purchased. I nevertheless rate the Trikke high. It's an amazing piece of technology and I enjoy it greatly!

I was very excited to get my Trikke and start riding. My excitement soon turned to frustration because I have found it nearly impossible to use. I just can't seem to figure out how to get it moving and keep it moving unless I'm going downhill. I imagine it's probably very much fun to ride if you live in a flat area. Many of my friends & neighbors have also tried to ride it and have found it nearly impossible, unless going downhill. I'm very disappointed in the Trikke and would not recommend it to others.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Trikke. I have been using it for almost two months now. I take it to work and ride it on my breaks and ride it when I get home. I am about to have a total knee replacement and I believe that the Trikke has not only helped in my overall fitness (carving a few pounds and inches off as well), it has definately made my knee stronger and increased the flexibilty. I am kind of bumbed out that I will not be able to ride it for a while, But I am looking forward to using my Trikke in my rehab. The trikke allows me get a good workout (low impact on the knees), not only my legs, but my upperbody as well and it is a FUN workout. I wish I could have some of those of you that have had positive experience with the Trikke to show me how to actually keep it going without push starting. I don't live on a totally flat area but it is by no means an incline. I have had neighbors try it and we can go down the small slope fine but anything with an upgrade is impossible. I am frustrated but am going to take it to a totally flat surfaced area and see if that is the next best step.

This Trikke is a very well balanced CV for the beginer. I personally like the 8 in poly wheels on this Trikke. I switched out the 7 in. for the 8 in. polys. I also have a pair of 8 in airs as well. But I still prefer the poly wheels. You go much faster than on the airs. Its a great ride!! You need to get one of these.

Well I like the concept & tried to learn to ride in the Public Storage lot but even small slopes caused me problems trying to move! The apartments to the south have a long flat sidewalk in front so when I get back from 50th HS reunion & move into my future 27' RV I will attempt to learn the motions required to actually move forward - lol :) We live on the 2nd floor & currently it is leaning up against a couch in the living room! I bought 2 T78 cs's for my wife and myself. I absolutely love them. I'm 52, had been athletic but had herniated a disc twice and had ACL surgery in both knees and had become a world class couch potato. This is the only thing that has gotten me off my fat butt and made me look forward to exercise again! I couldn't recommend them more highly. Definitely better with the air tires. Once you learn (the learning curve is different for everyone, but definitely do-able for everyone), it's something you look forward to everyday. My daughter and son-in-law started ricing them too, and now they have one and are looking for another. I'm in the process of getting a T-12. Best thing that ever happened to me (Sorry, hon). I have had a T78A for almost a year now, which is the same as the T78-CS except that it was sold with the 8" air tires all around instead of the poly rear wheels. I noticed that the T78 was heavier than my old T8 when I pulled it out of the box (steel frame vs. aluminum) but this turned out to be a nonissue, quickly overshadowed by the superiority of the air tires. The air tires also removed the fear of running over small rocks and twigs, which could be an unwelcome surprise with the poly wheels. The locking mechanism on the steel frame is also easier to use than the one on the aluminum frame. My only knock against the T78 is the stability of the handlebar extension locking mechanism. Since I have to extend the bars to their full height, there is a bit of wobble that is apparent when climbing hills (it also makes a creaking sound in the winter). The Trikke is a total blast to ride. The workout is superior - low impact and it works everything between your ankles and neck (unlike a bicycle or rollerblading). It is also possible to concentrate the workout on your arms/shoulders, core or butt/legs, depending on how you create the back and forth motion. The most frequent comments I get are 'Looks like fun' from adults (to which I reply 'Yes!') and 'Cool scooter' from kids.

Overall, I would say purchasing the Trikke was a good investment. It has a bit of a learning curve, but it flattens quickly once you get it. However, its not something you can just hand to a friend and expect him to keep up. The motion required to move the Trikke feels like it is working a lot of otherwise hard to isolate core muscles, especially around the lower rear flanks. It can be slow trekking when going into a headwind. This is also true when running, but is accentuated with the Trikke and requires more attention to technique. The problem with a lot of products like this is that they tend to collect dust in the garage after the novelty has worn off. This has not been the case with the Trikke; after a year I find that at a low I'll ride it a couple of times a month, otherwise much more frequently if I incorporate it into my workout program. With the benefit of hindsight, I think I would purchase one of the more expensive aluminum models. I did research before purchasing, and the concensus was that there was no or little difference in performance. However, given that I use it so often, I would be worth it to have a nicer fit and finish regardless of performance.

I have owned the Trikke for about 6 months. I live in a retirement community so I use the road system in the complex as my coarse. What I found initially was that the complex had a few inclines that were not evident when walking. I had a few initial problems with my Trikke. First, was the tire air pressure. I found that my small 12v air pump could not adequately inflate the tire. What I thought was 80 lbs ended up being about 55 lbs. Second, one of the wheel berrings was bad (it came me to me that way new). I found all of this out when I took the Trikke to the Tampa dealer to have hard wheels put on it. He talked me out of it and installed two hard wheels on the rear. That worked well, so eventually I re-installed the air wheels on the rear. Now I am Trikking every day and doing about 5 miles. I could go further, but I get a little bored going around in circles. I will start to use a local trail soon. So, I am happy with my trikke. By the way my wife has one alos, a T67. I would love a T8 Sport.

I bought a Trikke for each of my children. They were able to get right on and figure out how to ride them. They like the Trikke and we feel that it is a great workout for them. People do stop us sometimes and ask about them. The product is great, however, during shipping, a part of one of our Trikkes was broken. It didn't affect how the Trikke worked but we called customer service anyway to ask them to send us a replacement piece. First of all, it was NOT a toll free call, secondly, the woman on the other end was NOT at all personable, and lastly, she was NOT at all helpful and refused to send us the part. At that point, out of frustration, I really just wanted to send the Trikkes back but my kids enjoyed them and I didn't want to have to pay shipping costs again. All in all, you have a good product. I feel that it is a little overpriced, but since it is so expensive, at least the customer service could be better. I am going to give the product review a 4 but if I had to review customer service, I would give it a 0. Thank you, Gary Finch Trikke T78cs and Trikke 3CV

we were in charleston s.c. on vacation. saw the infomercial on tv. this is something i can exercize with and not destroy my knees any more. i ordered it. it came in a timely fashion. opened the box and the first thing you see is a quality built exersize machine. took about 2 weeks to fill comfortable on it and find the sweet spot. but now a ride is 3miles long and 30 min. with some pretty good inclines. i have mastered all but one and it is a good hill. i do enjoy the trikke and i am getting my exersize again. thanks for this design!

sports minded body rough from age
I bought this trikke w/ the poly wheels and literally wore them out my first year. I had a difficult time deciding which wheels I would put on this season...I went with the air....they're both a great ride. I live in Upstate NY my season is from late April to early October if I'm lucky. The trikke has become my "prozac on wheels". I'm not a diciplined person but my body was severly in need of exercise...it's now getting it. My body has reshaped and my mind has erased some of it's age. I don't live in an area of "flat land" and bought my trikke on the thought that if it didn't work for me in 30 days I'd just return it....this is year #2. It took me awhile to get it moving but watching the video "how to's" worked well. I don't ski, skate, run, work out, cycle or anything sporty...I used to channel surf now I Trikke! I couldn't wait till the snow melted to break out my ride. I watch the weather forcast daily and get out early if the day looks like rain. I'm sooo hooked on this my family searched through local roller rinks for me to play during the winter season as part of a xmas gift. I load my ipod with my favorite tunes and ride for an hour each day....some times twice a day...I never thought I would look forward to working my body to a well earned sweat. There are mornings I feel like crap but I take my trikke out and everything feels better! I turn 50 this year and am so greatful "I found my sweet spot"!

THE T78 IS A GREAT MACHINE. I DO SUJJEST THAT IF YOU RIDE ON ROADS WITH CRACKS OR SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS GO WITH THE ALL AIR MODELS. I SWITCHED MY REARS AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE AND WHAT A DIFFERANCE. SMOOTH AND FUN. FASTER AND LESS DAMAGE TO THE BODY. THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST WORKOUT MACHINE I HAVE EVER INVESTED IN. NOW IF YOU ARE INTO SMOOTH AREAS AND TRICKS, STICK WITH THE POLYURETHANE WHEELS. EVERYBODY THAT SEES ME WANTS ONE. THANKS TRIKKE.

I've only had my T78 Convertible for a couple of months. I purchased the air tires at the same time so I'd been ready for the switch when I become more proficient. I love riding the Trikke and the workout I'm getting in my abs and shoulders as I learn how to carve up hills. Lask weekend I bumped into a fellow Trikker. I was so excited to find someone else in my area that owned a Trikke. He said that he's been riding for about a year and loves to go out with his granddaughter. I agree that's it's a lot of fun to ride with family (my grandson loves it and asks to ride mine). I looked at the videos and thought about buying one for several months. I'm so glad I made the decision to buy one. It's huge fun, a great workout, and I look forward to getting out after my desk job all day. The service is great too and I was very pleased that it arrived in only a week! Thanks guys!

At 43 years old, I was dealing with some health issues, so the doctor perscribed a better diet and workouts. I saw an infomercial concerning the trikkes. So, we ordered 4 of them. I chose the T78cs. After assembling it with the easy-to-understand instructions and watching the video, I was ready. It took just 20 minutes and soon I was gliding around and having fun. With my ipod loaded with my favorite instrumental music, I began my low impact journey to a healthier "me". By changing my diet and working out on my trikke, I've lost 20 pounds, and my cholrestral has dropped signifincantly! The doctor says I am in 'great shape'. I am a dedicated fan and it's a great way to get in shape and have fun! Thanks Trikke for helping me stay fit and healthy!

I have had my trikke for over a year now. It's great fun and a subtle efective form of excersize. This model came with neopreme rear wheels which wore out with in the first 6 months due to the rough roads where I ride. I apted to switch to all air filled wheels which expanded the terranin and distance I could ride. The trikke draws a lot of attention where ever I go. Just remember dogs see it as unnatural so watch out. my favorite way to ride is to put on my mp3 player and groove to the tunes while I ride. Before I know it I've triversed multiple miles, burned calories, and tightened up muscles through out my body. I would liken the results to swimming as it works a wide varety of muscle groups and cardio. Easily keeps my weight in check and would easily help someone loose at a productive rate. It requires some respect, balance, and attention so rubbernecking is not always wise if in a deep carve. Well made so the cost factor is not an issue, well worth the expence. Much more fun than a bike and more compact. I highly recomend it for anyone wanting to get out there and get in shape or just for fun. Trikke could improve by implementing a easier way of lubricating the joints, otherwise it is brilliant. Thank You.

I love the sensation of riding the Trikke. It reminds me of doenhill skiing with the added upper body workout. Makes me want to exercise! The CS78 does have some small issues. There is a slight chirp in the front wheel bearings that doesn't seem to affect the ride or spin. The poly rear tires can develop a flat spot if you lock the brakes in a panic stop, however afterwards I flipped the wheels around and corrected the problem. I plan to get the rear polys replaced with air tires soon.

7/8 was a great intro model to trikking. Helped me lose pounds andafter 45 lbs I am looking to another great summer of trikkking around town. Only negative aspect was the durability of rear wheels. Mine have to be replaced soon after wearing down and chewed up.

I like it but feel I need more instruction than what the video provided-I guess practice makes perfect-when I can get it going-It is great and so much fun--I would recommend to anyone who wants something different than riding a bike-

Ever since I got my Trikke, I've been raving about it and showing it off to everybody! As a paramedic, I need to stay fit to be able to perform my duties. During downtime, between calls, I can take my Trikke out and carve it up. When I take it out to the park, it turns heads and raises questions. Absolutely the best investment I've made!

i dont know what this means
i bought this particular trikke after talking to a customer service agent last year. i replaced the back polyurethane wheels with air tires. i love to roller blade but as you see at 55 i am no longer a spring chicken and i fear falling and breaking bones. this for me has been the best way of exercise as it is similar to roller blading but much safer. i have lost 30 pounds in the past year thanks to this trikke. i absolutely love it as it is fun. the air tires make it a smoother and less bumpier ride. it is easy to throw in the back of my car as it folds so easy and nice and compact. i debated on the larger trikke but after talking with trikke employee they suggested i start out on this model. it was a good idea. so, now i load up my backpack, headset and off i go.

Never caught on how to ride it. It sits collecting dust in my garage. It is well-made, though. In Santa Monica this would probably be practical, but not for many other places.

I originally bought a T-8 over 3 years ago. I got hooked and began a rigorous training program of 60 miles per week. After 6 months, my Trikke broke a weld. Since I had bought it over a year ago but had only recently started riding regularly, I couldn't return it or claim it under warranty.Luckily , my father had also bought one and I took it over. After another 6 months, this one began to show extreme signs of wear. The plastic inserts wore to a point that the vehiclebecame unstable. I decided to buy another T-8 on Ebay , and although it was virtually new, it too wore out after about 6 months. My impression is that if anyone intends to use the vehicle under a continuousregimen, they would find better value in the Carving Trikke competitor. I have been riding theirs for over a year with no degradation.

I am (or was) an overweight woman on Medicare. My Trikke has made exercise kid-again fun. Riding my Trikke has made me fitter and happier than I've been since my knees began to hurt. I wish you'd show more of us older, heavier Trikkers in your ads. After all, we need the Trikke's no pain/all gain path to better health much more than young people. I am passionate about the Trikke's potential for fighting obsesity, immobility and plain old boredom. Slowly, but surely, I am going to assemble a posse of senior Trikkers who will swoop down (without hip or knee pain) and replace the surfer dudes in your infomercial and instructional CD. And when we take over, a grateful nation will bestow the Social Security Medal of Eternal Youth on the inventors of Trikke. It couldn't happen to nicer people.

I love this Trikke! The only draw backs would be the fact that I have taken a spill or two when I hit a patch of sand or leaves on the road. Also some of the allen bolts tend to come loose so I have to tighten them before each ride. I love the exercise benefits of this device! I have lost 113 lbs with the help of my Trikke! I took me about 2 hours to get the basics down and then about a week of pratice before I took it out for a long trip. Now I am Trikking all over town and beyond!

What fun I have had!! I am a seventy-two year old going on twelve! I am still in excellent health and full of vim and vigor, and let me tell you - the Trikke will help you stay that way! My daughter and granddaughter go to the track with me and we all have a blast! We had a contest to see who could learn to carve first... and I WON! I think Medicare and all insurance companies should subsidize the cost of a Trikke! They're fabulous!

great way to get some good excercise. I like to be in nature with the Trikke, and itlends itself very well for paved paths thru the woods. Uphill is the only challenge with the Trikke, but I honestly love this form of excercise. I used to inline skate, ice skate and bike. This is an awesome combination of all of them. I highly recommend this for anyone....a truly great ride. M. Zandbergen

I have had my Trikke for a few months now and WOW is it fun. Being a overwieght female over 50, I had given up on having fun on something like this, but I read up on this on the enternet and bought one. It took a few weeks to learn to ride but when you do you have the time of your life. I have told every body about this bike and I hope every body will get one. It's for young and old. Get on and ride baby ride.

As someone who had a heart attack 6 1/2 years ago I found the trikke to be a great tool for rehabilitation. As I am no longer able to run, I needed to find an alternative means of cardio exercise. Along with 45min walking on the treadmill, the trikke has been a great complement toward my cardiac rehab over the last 2+ years. I highly recommend the trikke...

Mr.
My wife and me purchasesed the T78 convertable. Since arrival we have had nothing short of a blast of a time. I had never heard of trikkes before and was to say the least skepitacal! We found that the rear poly wheels were not friendly to small pebbles on the pavement so when we got comfortable riding we replaced the rear wheels with the air tires. this created a diffrent sweet spot requiring a little different riding style but a much smoother ride and eliminated the problems with the small pebbles. I have fun watching people's expressions when they see us riding by. Riding Trikkes has really helped with our physical and mental state of being. Its like riding in heaven!!!!
