fantastic vision I do not own a trikke yet. I saw the infomercial and thought to myself what fantastic vision went into the development and production of such a device. To incorporate both fun AND fitness into a truely addictive device was indeed mesmerizing. I can't watch the videos and not want to try it out. I'm no spring chicken and at 46, The whole low impact aspect of the trikke is the most exciting part of the package. Which is why I entered to win this exceptional piece of equipment. I am physically active I ride a mountain bike and Longboard on long hills, I swim and just started working out again. This device is something that anyone can use to incorporate into their fitness program..and the best part is I bet I wouldn't feel like I was was "working" at all !
Please consider me as someone who would love to feel the burn and benefits of this awesome machine powered by the human element
The greatest transpo ever I hopped on my trikke in January. A cold winter in nyc. I was immediately addicted. It is not uncommon for me to do 30-40 miles in a day. I just go everywhere and absolutely love it. I crave hills, up AND down.
I don't really want everybody to have one! I like being one of few.
Go ahead though, buy asap...it is the best thing in the known universe.
mr I love my t12. Great fun great workout and a great conversation starter. Some people that I have let ride it are not crazy about it but generally most other people like it as well. Definetley not an activity for the lazy. I ride mine hard and the only problem I have had is the bolts in the cv joints or bushing area back out if I really ride hard. I just carry an allen wrench with me no big deal. Trikking is great! wish I could figure out how to make a living doing it.
Thanks for an awesome machine,

Trikke Master The T12 is the Trikke I want when I'm going places. I enjoy exploring new paths and streets. The larger tires and extra weight of the T12 make for a smoother ride in less than ideal terrain. The disc brakes give me the confidnece that I can stop on dime if need be. Also, I can put my whole body into the T12 for maximum workout. The extra weight of the T12 does make going up hill more difficult than a lighter Trikke, however, now a days I'm looking for that extra work out as my Trikke muscles are very developed. I love my T8 but the T12 is the one I ride the most.

Restaurant Owner This is my second Trikke. I like the Air filled tires for the traction and better workout but get frustrated with the flat tires that I get. Are there better intertubes made now or a way to seal them so that when I go out to workout I am not disappointed with a flat tire?

Retired Federal Officer I bought the T-12 and live in North Florida where there are real hills. At 58, the exercise is great and really fun. I added the front electric wheel E-kit to help with the hills when carving about 30 miles a day. The workout is fun, the E-kit helps with the hills and if people would quit flagging me down to see what it is I am riding, I might even go futher each day. This is a lot more fun than my mountain bike, kayak and uni-cycle. I am very pleased with my Trikke and would highly recommend one to everyone. The low impact ride is great if your knees are not capable of letting you jog anymore and the exercise and tone up is super.

wish i'd have had a T-8 I rode a T-8 at a local bike shop while on vacation and really enjoyed it. They did not have a T-12 in stock. I deliberated for several weeks before deciding to order the T-12.
I'm disappointed. The T-12 is so much more difficult to get/keep moving than the T-8 was. I'm 5' 9" and weigh about 170 lbs. The T-12 just feels like it is a machine that is too big for someone my size. It is more work than fun, and any hills or wind are a bear.
On the positive side, it is extremely well constructed. The disc brakes are great, and everything about it speaks of quality and attention to detail. It simply feels too large for me and (unless I'm traveling downhill) is too much effort.
Bottom Line: I plan on returning my T-12 and purchasing a T-8. If you are of large frame/weight, the T-12 is probably for you. If you are average or smaller size, I personally recommed the T-8.
senior powerplant operator i was able to get up to 38 m.p.h. with the wind at my back and a 5 degree grade. down hill. evey hard going back up this grade can not go up hill very far would need the electric moterized front wheel. to assist.

Trikker for ever!!! After a month of surfing the net and reading about the trikke I decided on the T12 Roadster. I have been riding it almost daily since I received it. I have had mine for about 4 weeks now. In this time I have lost 25lbs of unwanted weight. Your website reviews and information about these great machines was a tremendous help in deciding which trikke to buy. I look forward to riding ever day and I’am disappointed when the weather does not permit me to ride. Being a 64 year old retired runner, biker and swimmer, I realized I needed a form of exercise that was low impact. Riding the trikke T12 is just the exercise I needed. There is a learning curve involved but give it time and it will come. (DO NOT GIVE UP) It took me about a week to feel comfortable once I starting going to the rails to trails that is a 36 miles long path in my area. I needed the long stretch for a safe road to get going and have not stopped since! I also have my friends and relatives wanting to get into the great time I’m having. Wish I would have known about the trikke a lot sooner. I would recommend the trikke to anyone that wants a great workout and fun at the same time. When I was running I would get a runners high, well believe me you get the same high from trikking. I have just gotten my wife into trikking and have order a T8 for her. Will be here tomorrow, I hope. It will be great to have someone to trikke with. Hoping to have many trikkers soon in my area. I have tried many different types of exercise equipment and nothing compares to the trikke for a great low impact workout and more important having fun doing it. It doesn’t matter where you ride the trikke you will be stopped by everyone wanting to know about the trikke or wanting to try it as well. My Trikke has been a blessing in disguise for me. Try it and become addicted as I have become.

Challenging I purchased the T-12. The quality is excellent. The instructions are excellent. I had to fine tune the brakes a little more but that was easy to do and in general this may not be required on all deliveries. It took me two weekends to finally learn how to ride. I must say that where I leave the incline grades are fairly steep making it impossible to go uphill on the steepest grades. However if you build up enough speed the medium grades can be negotiated. The good part of all of this is that I have already lost 10 pounds just riding around with my son on his scooter. If I lose 10 more pounds, I will be able to convince my wife to try one. I think for her I will order the T-8.

Mr Really first class machine, I truly enjoy riding my Trikke T12, a workout doesn't seen like a workout; just play. Thanks for designing it, it's incredible and fun.
Mr. Thanks for a great product. I too had some time finally finding the "Sweet Spot". I am able now to work in slight head winds and slight up hills. IT JUST TAKES TIME AND PRACTICE. I like my T12 and also have a T78 Air. I like the T12 more. Did about 2 miles this weekend, my first venture out. Had a great workout and allot of looks as to what the Hell is that.
Thanks again.

Personal Trainer What can I say, I LOVE MY T12 Roadster. I was already convinced with my T8 with the polyurethane wheels. When I saw they were coming out with a larger CV vehicle with disc brakes and pneumatic tires, I was sold. I ordered my Trikke 12 Roadster, it’s of the original T12’s, I ordered it within 3 months of product release, and I can’t remember the year, maybe 2004! I plan my day around my ridding time and I can’t get enough time in; it’s always a challenge and every Trikke ride is great! I recently had my Trikke 12 down a couple of months needed repairs, no worries I still got to ride, I have another for back-up. I just got my T12 back today, to it for a spin, ah what a ride I missed my Roadster, it was great to back on the big rig! An opportunity to be outdoors in Arizona, who cares about the heat, I have my T12. The best investment I have made!
Thanks, Kathy
owner this is the best bike purchase i have ever made. I have loved the T-12 from day one. I have purchased 2 more in one month and have 2 more to go and the whole family will be trikken
Rider A little difficult to learn. I am athletic with good balance and coordination and it took a while to learn. I also live in a hilly area which makes it more difficult to learn. However, it is really fun to ride. I got this model mainly because of the tires which you can ride when the ground is wet. I live in Washington.
cyclepathtrikker What a fantastic product. The uses for this trikke are endless. I am 54 years old and have MS which limits what I am able to do. I have owned this trikke for 3 years and am still able to ride it. This trikke has given me hope and a new live and I am thankful that this product is out there. The T-12 is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about working out and in the process having alot of fun.

Owner I bought a T12 after trying my Mom's T78. I really like it. It rides very smooth and is absolutely a joy to ride downhill. The only complaint that I have is that the locking mechanism for the "legs" doesn't seem as stiff as I'd like it. It's rather loose and makes a clinking noise when I'm really pushing hard, although it still seems sturdy.

The T12 is smoothe higher up and more stable than her T78. I like the weight of this Trikke. Once you get the hang of it the T12 is my ride of choice. I propell farther on less exertion than the smaller one. She's been drooling for a motor to put on the T12 since they came out. Even with the motor on it would still be great exercise and even more fun. You guys at Trikke developed a winner it's changed many people, people like my wife. Thanx!

Trikker Riding my T12 is simply the best exercise and most fun ever. My Trikke's smooth, easy flow almost gives me the feeling of flying, and I can go for hours without over exerting myself. It is also tremendous during the few days following a long ride because I am never sore like I used to get after a long run or bike ride. My whole body simply feels stronger, more flexible and relaxed. I also love sharing my experience with people I meet along my rides. The Trikke is still a fairly rare sight in my area, so it always attracts a lot of attention. I love telling people that riding my Trikke is the absolute best workout I have ever had. The only problem with my Trikke is that I travel a lot for work and am not home to ride as much as I would like. The solution is simple though since a smaller Trikkes can be folded, packed and taken with me on the plane as a checked bag. Thank you Trikke for making such an amazing product.

Mr. The only complaint I have about this vehicle is that I think the wheelbase should be longer. I have a t-8 the T-12 frame size seems the same. With the larger wheels I can't get that perfect stance. It still rides fine, But everytime I ride I think. This would be better if the wheel base was a little longer. It would probably go faster also. Additionally, and this would go for all trikkes, It would be nice to put some small wings down the front of the stem oriented to provide a little lift in the direction of movement. I hate tikking against the wind and with the T-12 it doesn't take much ambient headwind to really kick your but when making speed.

Bentlifer Good construction. Purchased unit to get some break time from recumbent bikes. I haven't mastered the ride but need to scheduled more time on the unit.
Fun and useful I bought the T-12 when it was first available in copper. At 5' 4.5", I'm right at the low end of the recommended height range. The T-8 was a little small, but more nimble; I felt that I was able to carve the T-12 more aggressively. A "T-10" would've been perfect! That said, the T-12 is a fun ride and it really came in handy when I locked my keys in my truck and had to ride my T-12 the 10 miles back to my house. It got a lot of attention on the greenbelt!

After learning all the wrong ways to ride my trikke I am finally get down some correct moves and now I ride from 2 to 3 hours every 3 days. Also do swimming and weight lifting to augment my riding. I have seen some success I lose 10 lbs over 5 weeks. But even better is my stamina and endurance they have doubled. Because I am one of only a few that have a Trikke in my neighborhood I get ask what’s that? Followed by can I try it?
Did I mention I sold my mountain bike (soon after I got a trikke) yeah made a small profit to, yes I hid my trikke out of sight until I sold it. Why?? you ask; well when you can have more fun riding stand up then you can sitting down and not notice your not tried until you stop riding and disappointed when you do stop cause all you want to do is ride more. This is the first time I have enjoyed losing weight through exercise and getting endurance and stamina to boot. Sale your bike get a trikke you’ll never regret you did.
owner This is the most exciting non-motorized vehicle that we own. We travel miles on the T12 Roadster with realive ease. Or at least it seems like it. When we are finished, our muscles certainly feel worked!
I think because we are so focused on the pure enjoyment of the movement that we do not even realize that we are working hard to get where we're going.
We are constantly being stopped and asked 'what is that'.
This vehicle travles very well on all types of terrain (except for grass and sand)
Very sturdy, have owned and used for more than 4 years and still going strong.
Highly recommened!!

Mr I picked up the T12 last year and must say, I enjoy it very much. I brought it down to Hilton Head SC last year and must have been stopped about 10-15 times each day I brought it out. In fact, I was seriousely considering opening up a rental/sale shop down in Hilton Head when the economy went belly up. I haven't dismissed the idea and have to get out to one of your training classes next time it's in the area and I can get the time off of work.
As for the unit itself, I have a knocking that sounds like it is in the back of the unit but I was informed by one of your dealers in NC that it may be in the front section and discussed via e-mail on how I can correct the situation. I'll probably have it tuned up as I pass through this summer.
In short, I LOVE it, it rides great, handles wonderfully once I got the hang of it. Riding it burns off weight like crazy which is a good thing for me. I switched the brake levers and the hand grips to a higher quality similar to what I have on my Gary Fisher, playing around with the idea of going Hydrolic but not set on it at the moment. I guess you can say I like tweeking things up a little, making them better than the stock version.
Hope the informatin provided is helpful, keep up the GREAT work and don't stop improving, who knows, I might buy another one. The electric motor looks good but that defeats the reason I purchased the TRIKKE in the first place.
Thanks for bringing it to market,
Cordially,

mr I found my T12 to be much more difficult than was demonstrated on the video. The person in the video was obviously a professional, and the track was smooth and level or a slight down grade, with either a tail wind or no wind resistance at all. I am 65, not 25, and any head wind or up hill grade at all made it impossible to move the trike. The video is very misleading; and now I will have to buy the electric motor to get any use out of my trike. Where I live, there are no places to ride that are in a vacuum and perfectly level. I have had many people of all ages try it, and no none can move it up hill or into the wind.

Beeps The T-12 is the coolest of the Trikke stable. Where I live, Trikkes are rarely seen so when riding in the past, it was fun to hear people comment to their friends or family, What is that it? I want one of those!!. Great exercise. Unfortunately I lost it as part of a divorce settlement ( naturally, the wife wanted it). I hope to get anolther soon.
Mrs. When my husband told me what he got me for my birthday, I was in a bit of disbelief. I thought everyone would stare at me when I rode it and I thought I would be embarrassed. I thought it wasn't a very good present, to be honest. Wow, was I wrong! I love my Trikke so much! I don't know what the logic is behind it, but I can go for an hour on my Trikke, working my heart rate up to 177, and not feel winded or fatigued. I know I'm getting a good workout, but it's so enjoyable to ride that I have some trouble remembering that I am, in fact, working out. I have taken my Trikke down to our local river's edge trail and ridden for an hour and a half. Since owning my Trikke, I have actually experienced a runner's high. The first time I experienced that was when I rode at the river for an hour and a half. I had this big grin on my face which I couldn't wipe off, even though I was getting peppered with bugs. This has been a long winter for me because I could not wait for it to warm up enough for me to get out and ride! My husband is in the Air Force and we live on an Air Force base. Every time I ride my Trikke on base, I have people waving at me, because I've become recognizable for my Trikke. I can't tell you how much I love my Trikke! It is so fun to ride. I absolutely love, love, love it! And people do stare at me. But, I don't mind, because I have my Trikke and my Trikke is cool.

CEO I bought T78 Air first and after 2 months, I ordered T12 Roadstar about 1 year ago. Since then, I have been riding T12 every morning 1 hour for about 10-12 miles near my house. This vehicles is perfect for me. Very efficient work-out machine without any impact to my knees. Challenging to climb up hills is good muscle training. I can not survive without T 12.
Mr. I've TriKKed around 900 miles on my T12. I absolutely love it. It's a bit more mass to get going. Once you reach 7.8 to 8mph, the effort to keep it going is on par with a T8. It's worth the extra effort. The brakes are fabulous, a little water has almost no effect. It's smooth and steady, no matter what speed. Downhill is a pure thrill. I think my top speed was about 17 mph, downhill. What more can I say....I love my T12.
Boss I've owned my T12 for several years now. I still get stopped during rides by people driving in their cars, biking and walking to tell me how unique my ride is. I honestly haven't seen another rider on a Trikke during my work-outs either in Florida or now in NJ. I ride almost every day while my Wife walks our dog, Zues. If they walk 4 miles, I'll have ridden 4-6. I track back and forth in front of and then behind them as they walk, never letting them out of my sight. At 60, I feel as if it has kept me young and certainly young at heart.
Trikker I bought a Trikke a year ago Christmas and having been enjoying it every since. Our Sunday morning rides usually run about 10 miles with a maintained heart rate around 150. It's absolutely the best and most complete excercise I have participated in. Although I have modified my T12 to match my riding style, the stock version is a great starting place. It's the most fun I have had while working out. The T12 is superior if you are going to get serious. It sticks to the road and teh disc brakes are invaluable (work well too).

Trikke Rider I own the T12 Roadster, what a great vehicle, I take it to ride and before I know it a couple of hours have gone by. It is a lot of fun. I am glad I bought it. Thanks for make it. Mary
Trikkeman I love this thing! Second week I had it, I rode for 35 miles from my town to my girlfriend's. So much fun! Great workout! One of the best buys I ever made. Complete workout machine. Love carving down hills. Reminds me of snow skiing in the Alps, where I skiied for over 27 yrs. Now I am in IL. Miss the mountains, but now I have the sensations.

owner After riding a T8 for a time, I decided to move up to the T12. That was for the best. Even though I am 52, I tried to do more than the T8 allowed. The T12 is the best workout-better than my rode or mountain bike. If given the choice of rides, I'd choose the T12 above all. I now own 2 T12, 1 T8 and 1 T5. The kids at church love them and we are planning on purchasing more and riding in the local Christmas parade. Besides being fun, they are made well and will take a beating.
Ininer I've been riding my T-12 for a little over a year, after abandoning my roller blades because of a couple nearly bone breaking accidents. The T-12 is much more stable and much easier on the body. It can be an easy cruise or one heck of a workout. I'm ridden approximately 250 hours and have found it a great exercise to keep in shape. I'm averaging over 10mph per daily outing and I love it. ( I've also lost over 30 pounds and love the new clothes ) Thank you TRIKKE.
