Great low impact workout Winston Salem, NC June 5, 2011 My good knee started giving me problems so I thought the Trikke would be a good alternative to hiking and running. I put 45 miles on the Trikke the week it arrived. It provides a great workout and my wife liked it so much that we have another one ordered. As with anything it takes practice especially going up small hills. Pros Great low impact workout, built well, folds up for transporting, fun and different Cons This is minor but on the T78 the folding mechanism can be a bit difficult to engage |

Difficult to learn, but fun once you do
Carrollton, TX April 24, 2011 I purchased this for my wife's Xmas present (at her request). She wanted something she could use for exercise while she walked our large dog. She had been using her bicycle, but the dog tends to run away (sideways), making the bicycle tip dangerously to the side. My wife was worried that she might fall over unexpectedly and break a hip (we're in our sixties). This solves that problem, since her feet are right there at ground level. It's not impossible to fall, but you'd really have to work at it to injure yourself. I snapped it together without resorting to reading the instructions, and although our research had impressed us with how hard it was to learn the correct motion, she was able to use it on level ground fairly quickly. [Other reviewers have compared it to snow skis, but I thought it was more like rollerblading.] Unfortunately, going uphill was MUCH more difficult and she quickly became frustrated. Over all it is great exercise (she says she's sore in places she didn't know she had), but adults may find the learning curve so frustrating that they quit before it becomes fun. |

My wife loves it! Tom from Miami April 23, 2011 I purchased this Trikke for my wife's birthday. She loves to snow ski and this scooter movement uses a lot of the same motion. We live in a condo so the folding feature is really good. She is using the Trikke to help her with low impact exercise. She rides it mostly on the tennis courts surfaces at the condo but we really want to upgrade to the rear air tires as the ride is very bumpy on the blacktop parking lot. Overall momma is very happy so a happy momma means happy family. :) |

Love it! jemizasi November 15, 2010 I've been using my trikke consistently for several months now and absolutely love it. I would recommend this to everyone. I do between 12 to 22 miles at a time several times a week and look forward to it each time. I have MS and am not able to run, walk, or bike for very long due to muscle weakness, but this is perfect. Once you've mastered the ability to use this, you can experiment with shifting your weight slightly and you use different muscles, this really is a full body workout!!! |
